Nate, a teenage boy, befriends a group of philosophers in order to better understand his purpose and direction in life. The story takes place in a classic café where it is centered around the thought-provoking dialogues and intellectual conversations which are the soul of the book. Those philosophical discussions are carried out through the Socratic method from the perspective of Nate.
