Sustainability has always been one of the critical considerations in oil and gas operations. As the oil and gas companies are continuously enhancing emissions performance in transitioning to a low carbon economy, they also need to align themselves to sustainable development goals by the United Nations through their linkages to the economy, societies, health, and environment.  

This book explores the concept of sustainability from the managerial and humanities perspective. Several authors who are scholars in their areas wrote in diverse perspectives from the management and social sciences in addressing sustainability issues and practices in the Malaysian oil and gas industry context.
