Synopsis
This book is aimed at undergraduate medical students. There are 39 surgical clinical scenarios that students are expected to learn by the end of their surgical posting. The scenarios are grouped into seven chapters: gastrointestinal, hernias, breast, vascular, endocrine, trauma, and urology. Each section starts with a clinical scenario which is then followed by the working diagnosis, differential diagnoses, initial management, investigation, and treatment. Learning the scenarios will aid students in preparing for their written and clinical surgical examinations. It is hoped that this book will serve as a useful adjunct to surgical textbooks and clinical attachments, thus enabling students to pass their surgical examination with flying colours.
