Barbara Lewis's husband Steve was 55 years old when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, while the two of them were still working full time and parenting their nine year old daughter. While dementia at any age is tragic, a young-onset diagnosis can be especially challenging. Mary Archer had created a caregiving business with a special focus on those with young-onset dementia, and Steve became a client.
