"Feline Planet" is a colorfully illustrated, early middle-school grade novel told by 9-year-old Nora. It begins when she and her twin brother, Jake, arrive at their great-aunt Eve's home in the mountains. Eve, a retired space scientist, will take care of the twins while their wildlife-photographer mother is in the Amazon. While in the forest, Nora and Jake find Eve's secret spaceship. Along with their cat Hazel, they enter the spacecraft, and it takes off into space! Together, they travel to the Feline Planet, the home of highly intelligent cats.
