Abdullah was born into the most prestigious lineage of Arabia, the Banu Hashim of the Quraysh tribe. As the son of Abd al-Muttalib, the custodian of the Kaaba, he was raised in the heart of spiritual and social authority. Muslim scholars emphasize that the light of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was carried through a pure and noble line, free from the moral failings of the era of Jahiliyyah. Abdullah was known for his striking physical beauty and an inner grace that distinguished him from his peers. He was the “Zabih” (the sacrificed one) in family tradition, echoing the story of Isma’il (AS). His father, Abd al-Muttalib, loved him dearly, seeing in him a unique promise.
