Welcome to e-Sentral Reader!

This section provides guidance for digital book readers to navigate the e-Sentral portal. We hope that this guidance will simplify your process of navigating and you can start reading as soon as possible with a peace of mind.

Note: Books that are available in this portal can be viewed when you browse through this portal. When browsing, you have the freedom to choose books from your preferred language. i.e. Bahasa, English, Music. You can search books by category. i.e. novel, motivation etc. To purchase e-books, registration has to be made first. Refer registration procedure below- The e-Sentral team

Chapter 1: Registering with e-Sentral

In order to purchase and read e-books from e-Sentral, users have to have an account with e-Sentral first.

To register:

1. Click New. Click here to register
2. Fill in all the fields
3. Click Register
4. A message will pop out indicating that you have successfully being registered.
5. Once registered, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address indicating that the registration is successful.

1.1 Login

After registering you can start logging on using your ID and you are now able to manage your account. To Login:

1. Key in you username and password
2. Click Login
3. A welcome message indicating your username will inform you that you are in your account.

Chapter 2: Forgot password

1. Click on forgot password
2. Type your e-mail address
3. A password change request will be automatically sent to your email account
4. Click on "create new password"
5. Type the new password
6. A confirmation on new password will be sent to your e-mail address.
7. Login again with the new password.

Chapter 3: Managing your account

There are three functions under the account setting. The functions are My Profile, My Library and Logout. The explanations are as follows.

1. My Profile: This function only allows you to change your password
2. My Library: This function acts like your personal library. It will store the ebooks that you have purchased and you are able to view and read the ebooks that are stored here at any time.
3. Logout: This function will log you off from your account.

Chapter 4: E-Books

4.1 Browsing the portal

There are several ways on how you can view/ get the eBooks in the portal. They are as follows:

• Latest - displays the latest ebooks added to the e-Sentral portal.
• Best Seller - displays a list of e-Sentral best sellers.
• Reader's Choice - displays the portal's choice of reading.
• Recommended - displays the items recommended for you by e-Sentral based on reader's previous digital and physical purchases.
• Search function: Another way that you can view the eBooks is by using the search function and type the tag that is related to your search. For example lion/ tiger/ love etc.
• Category: Click on the categories of the eBooks ( at the bottom of the portal). For example: general / romance / comic

To view more eBooks than the ones that is displayed, use the horizontal scroll and move it to your right.

4.2 Purchasing e-books

To purchase eBook from this portal, simply follow the steps:

1. Double-click on the book that you would like to purchase
2. The book details will pop out - All information relating to the book will be displayed here. i.e. author, publisher, price, synopsis etc.
3. Click Add to cart
4. A notification will be displayed to state that the item is now in your cart.

4.3 Make payment

To make payment for the eBooks, follow the steps below:

1. Click checkout
2. The system will bring you to the "My Cart" page. Here, all your orders will be displayed.
3. Choose Webcash / PayPal
